Mitú Digital Accelerator

mitú, known for connecting brands, content buyers, and creators to latino youth in America, partnered with the Bixel Exchange, LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and Annenberg Foundation to launch the mitu Digital Accelerator. The Accelerator was developed to support up-and-coming creators through workshops, boot camps, and other similar initiatives. In the words of mitu founder Beatriz Acevedo, “For years Latinos have been grossly underrepresented and stereotyped in the entertainment industry. With mitú’s Accelerator, we’re providing opportunities and empowering the next generation of multicultural storytellers and creators to have a more prominent and authentic voice in media.” We worked with mitú to develop the pilot, create curriculum and to find and vet the next generation of talented Latinx content creators. Many students later went on to get internships and jobs at companies like Snap, Netflix and NBC Universal.
